ABOUT ME
I became an associate professor of economics at Drake University in 2011. I received my B.A. in economics (Magna Cum Laude) at Gonzaga University as well as my M.S. in 2009 and Ph.D. in 2011 in economics from the University of Oregon. I study how banks impact the local economy, and why banks fails. Additionally, I research what the economic impacts of investment into or acquisitions of European companies by Chinese MNEs.

I teach the Principles of Macroeconomics (Econ 10), Intermediate Macroeconomics (Econ 174), and the Introduction to Econometrics (Econ 170) at Drake, and I have taught Money and Banking (Econ 105) while at the University of Oregon.
